Policies related to Suppliers
The page is an online platform/service through which users of the page or their authorized representatives can purchase products harvested or produced in Puerto Rico with delivery in the Northern Zone of the Island.
The Client understands and accepts that Cultivos Borinquen may sometimes function as an intermediary between supplier and consumers.
Cultivos Borinquen HAS NO CONTROL over the conduct of other users or product suppliers and denies all responsibility in this regard to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Delivery Policy
We deliver to the Northern Zone twice a month (mid-month and end of month). This may vary. You will be notified 24 hours prior to the delivery date of any changes. The approximate delivery time and specific location will be notified to you via phone call or text message to the number provided by the customer.
We deliver to your home using the services of external companies that allow us to do so, such as Island Wide.
Cancellation Policy
If the customer wishes to cancel his order, he must do so before the delivery or shipment is managed by Cultivos Borinquen.
We do not accept returns. The 50% deposit requested when placing the order or paying in full is non-refundable (Cases will be subject to evaluation as applicable).
Shipping Policy
We ship to the United States and Puerto Rico regularly via Ground Advantage (5-7 business days) through USPS as it is one of the most economical methods but at the same time the customer agrees to understand that this option is not often the fastest. The customer can select the Priority Mail option but in full knowledge that the cost is higher.
Regarding shipments of Trees, Plants and/or Harvests (Fruits to be consumed), the customer accepts and understands that it may take longer to prepare his/her order than a regular order that does not include live plants, since many preparation factors must be taken into account so that his/her merchandise arrives in the best possible way as expected and as we strive to do so. This means that it may take a while because we do not send them on weekends to avoid closed mail days from delaying arrival. The Customer also understands that he/she is fully responsible and assumes all risks if he/she selects a Harvest product that may be of poor quality.
Shipping costs for orders are broken down and added to your order.

Warranties
Seed Packaging
Seeds and plants are living products that depend on many factors that influence germination, growth and development of the plants such as: proper planting time and technique: depth of planting, substrate used, proper germination environment, fertility, disease control, insect control and a reasonable climate for direct sown seeds. If any of these factors are not correct the seed may not get its maximum performance, because most if not all are out of our control, most of the success of these seeds is in the hands of the grower. If they have been properly cared for and still do not grow, I will replace the packaging on that seed, once.
Germinated Plants or Special Orders
We are committed to delivering a high quality product, plants that reflect the proper care and attention due to their variety. If the plant has been delivered in the conditions mentioned above and does not receive the care from the customer and dies, we are not responsible and there are no guarantees for such cases.
The hotline must be aware that for Special Orders there are factors beyond our control that could delay the approximate delivery times.
Customers should take into account that each variety has different characteristics and germination times, and that this may affect delivery times.
Refund Policy
Shipping by Mail
If our product does not reach its destination after being delivered by Cultivos Borinquen to the post office, we are not responsible for its loss; the customer must file a claim with the post office through the appropriate channels.
If there was an error on the part of Cultivos Borinquen when placing the ordered products and the customer presents all the evidence of the mistake by sending a photograph, a refund will be made for the poorly packaged product or we will resend the product, the situation will be subject to evaluation.
Deliveries
If at the time of delivery the customer is not satisfied with the quality of the product, he or she has the right to request a refund.
If the client does not arrive at the location on the mutually agreed date, NO refund will be made.
Privacy Policy
All data provided that has been retained, processed or handled by/from our clients and users may be shared with other platforms for advertising purposes.
The client accepts and allows that (their data provided) may be used by Cultivos Borinquen for internal advertising purposes.
